I bought this camera 6 months ago and it's already been in 4 countries. It preforms wonderfully in all conditions and the results speak for themselves. It's lightweight and durable which makes it fantastic for hiking.
The only two things missing from this model is an internal focus motor and more focus points (it has 3)...other than that I wouldn't change a thing.
Now that Nikon came out with a DX prime lens f/1.8 35mm, I can take my photography to a new level with the D60.
Pro : Beautiful pictures, ease of use, lightweight
Con : Must buy AF-S lenses (internal focusing)

I am not really into photography and getting the right lighting, angle and everything else...but this camera does it for me! I just take a lot of pictures and wanted a good, durable camera. That's what I got in this little baby. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for digital camera and wants to spend $150-$200 on one. I HAD a Sony Cybershot 4.1 and this is by far greater in every aspect. Canon did a good job here.
Pro : Great picture quality, easy to use and fun
Con : Maybe better zoom acuity and range, but its not bad

I got this camera for Christmas, as well as a Canon EOS Rebel XT (the husband and parents obviously didn't communicate). I love the graphic display for the shutter speed and aperture...it really helps a beginner get used to how those features work. I've had nothing but amazing pictures from this camera, and I'm looking forward to the summer when I can get some better shots.
Pro : Lightweight and Easy to Use
Con : None so far

When I first gripped the 20D, it was immediately impressed by the weight difference between it and the 35mm EOS-1 film camera. Although the batteries are much larger for the digital camera, the over all reduction due to all that missing in weight seems clear. Nearly a full 9 oz. Doesn't sound like much, but after an hour or so, at a sporting event... it will.

Obviously, since both cameras use the same lenses, that part is a wash. So, cutting back on "body weight" is where you will get you biggest bang for the buck. I've found that having less weight in your "handsling" makes for quicker alignment.

The 10 frames/sec 35mm shooting of the EOS-1 is hard to compete with, but 3+ fps is remarkable with a digital of any kind. Reloading... not a problem with the digital either. A 36-shot roll in the EOS-1 is gone in three seconds, while the 20D is clipping along until the batteries drop dead.

Yeah... digital is definitely and finally here with the 20D. An excellent example of where photography needs to be... in the 21st Century. Goodbye dark room.
Pro : Specific focus & speedy sequence shots
Con : Power monger... have extra batteries handy

Incredible camera. Increasing the sharpness from the factory preset setting was easy enough.
Pro : Fast, quality, and a fat 8.2 megapixels
Con : Factory sharpness setting

Got one for my girlfriend and she loves it. After 2 months, 1,000 picutes and 500 "stop that" she's still loves it. The size is perfect for someone on the go and there are a lot of features to use and master. The screen is big to see pictures and the quality is amazing. For the price, can't beat it! Especially if you're buying it for a girl. Too small for me even though I like it and definitely think it's worth it.
Pro : Size, features, quality
Con : Too small for a guy
